On The Road, part 1: New Mexico

Well, the adventure has begun!

We left Austin on Saturday morning (9/1) and made it to Hobbs around 5:30 pm. My grandparents had a lovely cheese lasagna waiting for us and we had a nice dinner catching up. Saturday was mainly spent eating and playing games (we made the mistake of playing Monopoly with Eric, which quickly got ugly, but Guesstimation was fun and lighthearted) and then Sunday we left for Denver at 8 am.

The visit, though short, was very nice and I'm so glad we were able to stop by on our way west. We're very thankful for your generosity and support.
