Month 2: Triumph of the City
This one took a while. I must have started reading Triumph of the City several months ago, but while I enjoyed the content, I found the pacing a little difficult. The book, by Edward Glaeser, considers what makes cities such successful creations and what we can do to ensure they flourish well into the future.
Overall, it felt a little redundant and long-winded. Despite those hesitations, however, I've found several of the anecdotes and examples cited within the book have stuck with me. It's probably not something I'll return to and read in full again, but I may pick it up to verify an excerpt here and there.
