Week 48: Lands End

There's just something about the gluttony of the holidays that makes outdoor excursions so appealing. We have a tradition of heading to the beach after Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and this year was no exception. On Friday we walked the Lands End trail, making stops at Mile Rock Beach and Sutro Heights Park.

We started the day at the SF Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, to view their exhibit on aqua scapes. It was a lovely day and nice to hang out on the west side of the city. There's just something so freeing about being on the water's edge.
